Greetings Yoga and T’ai Chi Students and Lovers of Breema and The Painting Journal!

Many thanks to the workshop participants and staff (Patty, Don and Gary) of “Well Being” Conference Center in Tazewell TN who made Journeying Toward Wholeness last weekend the creative, inspiring and nourishing experience we all cherish and enjoy. Patty and Don also host silent retreats and are open to groups that support our planet on all levels.

Several new men have come into the RMSI yoga class lately, and I sense that Rahim’s influence is not dwindling in hopefully his last year inside the walls. It is inspiring to see the men coping with bodily pain, stiffness and shortness of breath in ways inspired by practicing yoga, doing meditation, carrying the Breema Principles, and learning to breathe fully.

The class is always open to those in Nashville wanting to do a class with the men. Remember, you do not have to be a full participant. You can sit in meditation, or participate in only what feels ok for you to do. Please notify me a week in advance with your name and date of birth.

Restorative yoga is happening in the classes this week, with a Strawberry Moon Friday the 13th. If you have a bolster, please bring it.

“Tai chi is a subtle and powerful awareness discipline, a tool to become more in touch with yourself. It is a way of allowing yourself to function naturally and smoothly, uncluttered with expectations, shoulds, hopes, fears and other fantasies that interfere with our natural flow. Unlike so many paths to awareness, T’ai chi is beautiful to experience as you do it, and beautiful to watch from the outside.” ~ Barry Stevens~

Breema Treatments are available Mondays, Tuesday afternoons, and Fridays. Please call (831-0440) to set up your appointment. This month there is a special for Father’s Day. If you are a father or have a father who wishes to experience Breema, the session is 40% off.

“It seems a good portion of my day is spent in the mind, with all of its “to do” lists and its love of thinking, worrying, and trying to figure out my life. Doing Self- Breema exercises in the morning is supportive, because the impression received during this simple activity, of the unity between mind, body, and feelings, often returns throughout the day as a tangible reminder that each moment is an opportunity to come back to this more natural and unified self. This is what I wish for my life. Breema is always available with its invitation to wake up- to have a
direct experience of life.” ~ Roxanne Schroter: Breema Instructor

“As an individual, with your death there will be an end of you. But your individuality is not your true and final being, indeed it is rather the mere expression of it….only the phenomenon presented in the form of time, and accordingly has both a beginning and an end, Your being in itself, on the contrary, knows neither time, nor beginning, nor end, nor the limits of a given individuality…..So that, in the first sense, after death you become nothing; in the second, you are and remain everything.”
~ Arthur Schopenhauer~
